Behind the Scenes

Embark on our latest project buildout, where we've implemented several enhancements to elevate the Addenbrooke Academy School PreK-8 space. We've installed three brand-new roof skylights and two cutting-edge roof exhaust fans, meticulously patching the roof for added durability.

Additionally, we've enhanced the facilities by transforming an existing storage area, which was recessed 18 inches, into a functional classroom. We've also added two convenient unisex toilet rooms for teachers, along with a dedicated laundry room for school facilities.

This transformation included structural fill and the installation of a new concrete slab on grade with reinforcement, ensuring longevity and stability. The structural fill and SOG pour were inspected by a third party to ensure quality.

To maximize efficiency, we've also added a dedicated toilet room within an existing pre-K classroom. The Pre-K kiddos can now continue their learning without having to disrupt class every time someone needs to run to the restroom, which would involve the entire class accompanying one individual.
