Ellipsis is led by Yvette Roman, a licensed General Contractor with over a decade of experience in commercial construction projects.
With a degree in civil engineering, Yvette excels at taking on complex projects that require both a depth of understanding and strong coordination between teams. Her team of experts help support you to achieve your commercial construction goals.

Yvette Roman
Yvette Roman is the Founder and Principal of Ellipsis Construction, a licensed, women-owned commercial general contracting firm based in Denver, Colorado. With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and operational excellence to every project she leads.
At Ellipsis Construction, Yvette leads all aspects of the business—from strategic planning and financial management to operations, client relationships, and team development. She is known for her hands-on leadership style, commitment to innovation, and ability to deliver complex projects with precision and collaboration. Under her leadership, the firm emphasizes relationship-driven project delivery, sustainability, and forward-thinking construction solutions.
Yvette holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Building Science from the University of Southern California and a Construction Management Certificate from Colorado State University. She is a licensed Class A General Contractor, LEED Accredited Professional, and OSHA 30 certified, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Real Estate Development at the University of Denver.
An active leader in the commercial real estate and construction community, Yvette is a member of organizations including NAIOP, BOMA, AIA, CREW Denver, and ULI. She has participated in leadership programs such as the Susan Stanton Leadership Academy and contributes to mentorship initiatives supporting emerging professionals. Recognized as one of Denver’s Women Leading Real Estate professionals, she is passionate about advancing diversity in the industry, supporting small businesses, and shaping a more innovative and inclusive future for construction.

Daniel Reiling
Daniel Reiling is a construction professional with experience in field supervision, project management, residential construction, and real estate development. As Superintendent at Ellipsis Construction, Daniel brings a strong background in managing construction operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and supporting successful project delivery from mobilization through completion.
Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of San Diego and has developed a diverse construction background spanning custom homes, spec home development, remodels, and commercial construction support. Prior to joining Ellipsis Construction, Daniel served as a Project Manager and Superintendent with Lux Builders in Denver, where he managed multiple residential projects simultaneously, coordinating architects, engineers, designers, homeowners, subcontractors, and city inspectors while maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
Daniel has also led field operations for Strong Finish Drywall, managing crews throughout the Denver-Boulder metro area, overseeing daily site documentation, schedule coordination, quality control, scope interpretation, and communication between contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, and inspectors. His hands-on construction experience began in the field, giving him a practical understanding of trade coordination, jobsite operations, and the importance of collaboration between project teams and subcontractors.
Beyond construction, Daniel is actively involved in community leadership through his role as President of the NOON Registered Neighborhood Organization and Director of Gallery Development for the Denver Art Society, where he supports community initiatives, development discussions, accessibility efforts, and organizational growth.
Daniel combines architectural knowledge, field experience, and strong relationship-building skills to help deliver safe, organized, and high-quality construction projects while fostering positive partnerships with owners, trades, and project stakeholders.

Gio Sierra
Gio Serra is a Safety Consultant at Ellipsis Construction, where he plays a critical role in advancing the firm’s commitment to safe, compliant, and high-performing job sites. With over seven years of experience in construction safety and environmental health, Gio brings a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to risk management, helping project teams deliver successful outcomes while protecting the well-being of every worker on site.
Gio has supported a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects throughout his career, including airport expansions, data centers, retail renovations, and large-scale restoration efforts. His expertise spans site safety management, OSHA compliance, safety training, jobsite inspections, incident prevention, and the development and implementation of comprehensive environmental health and safety (EHS) programs. Known for his strong field presence and collaborative mindset, Gio works closely with project teams, trade partners, and clients to identify risks early, implement practical solutions, and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
At Ellipsis Construction, Gio is instrumental in fostering a safety-first culture that aligns with the company’s broader mission of delivering projects with excellence, integrity, and innovation. He develops and leads safety programs that not only meet regulatory requirements but also elevate industry standards, ensuring that safety is fully integrated into every phase of construction—from preconstruction planning through project completion. His ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization enables him to engage teams, reinforce best practices, and drive lasting behavioral change on job sites.
Gio holds a Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health, and Applied Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He also maintains numerous industry certifications, including OSHA 500 and HAZWOPER 40, reflecting his deep technical knowledge and ongoing commitment to professional development.
